As a writer he is on his second volume. He made his debut with the volume "Step Hourglass", published by For You, 2006. The book is an amalgam of essays about lifetime journeys, life and the dreams that keep us alive.
Tristan believes in the sapiential valence of play: he writes by playing seriously and plays by writing seriously. Some can live stories they cannot write, others write stories they cannot live.
